Pakistan Association Qatar  organises poetry symposium

Pakistan Association Qatar (PAQ) has organised its first function of poetry symposium (Mushaira). It also conducted the release of Urdu book written by prominent Urdu writer Syed Faheem Ud Din.

Defence Attaché’ of Embassy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Commodore Irfan Taj was the chief guest. Initial session was conducted by senior Urdu poet in Doha and Chief advisor of PAQ Shaukat Ali Naz. In the second session, the work and poetry of Zaheer Mushtaq Rana was analysed by Ijaz Haider. Urdu book named ‘Ye Ishaq Pahla Nahin’ was launched by Chief Guest Irfan Taj. The book was dedicated to his old colleagues and best friends, Shahid Rafiq and Javaid Iqbal Abid by author Syed Faheem Ud Din.

Mushaira was the heart of function in which Urdu poets have presented their work. The few significant poets who presented their work were, Shahid Aazmi, Ittefaq Anmol, Zareef Baloch, Raquim Aazmi, Musharaff Kamal, Qaiser Masood, Mansoor Aazmi, Asif Sahfi, Ijaz Haider, Shaukat Ali Naz, Shafiq Akhtar and Syed Faheem Ud Din.
