‘Made in China’ expo to kick off on Thursday
The third “Made in China” exhibition will open here on Thursday with the participation of 100 Chinese companies representing various economic and trade sectors in the People’s Republic of China.
Qatar Chamber director-general Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi (pictured), expects the third edition of the event, to attract a large number of visitors, businessmen and investors. The event will help visitors to get acquainted with the products and services offered by the Chinese companies participating in the exhibition, and also be a venue to discuss the establishment of a Qatari and Chinese alliances to transfer the modern technology produced by these companies to Qatar.
Al Sharqi said in a statement that, the exhibition has attracted a wide range of Chinese companies, to participate, who are keen on displaying their products and latest innovations to Qatari investors. He explained that the wide participation of Chinese companies in the exhibition reflects the confidence of China in the Qatari economy, despite the ongoing unjust siege.
Al Sharqi also expects several business deals to be signed between Qatari businessmen and their Chinese counterparts participating in the expo. He stressed that the expo could result in building constructive partnerships and alliances that enable Chinese companies to enter the Qatari market specially in some industrial and productive sectors.
