The Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, held its fourth Mehna Café (career café) meeting recently.

The career café meeting was graced by Esraa Al Jofeirri, Founding partner of “Al Manjab” Restaurant and Saleh Al Alyan, Founding partner for “Sugar and Spice” Restaurant.

On this occasion, Reem Al Suwaidi, General-Manager of Bedaya Center, said, “We always strive to support our youth by providing them with the proper tools to develop their skills and knowledge which will reflect positively on their ideas and future projects through monthly meetings with experts in various sectors with the aim to help them refine and develop their existing projects, expand them and launch them towards the best.”

During the interactive session, Al Jofeirri and Al Alyan spoke about their experience in establishing private business and informed the gathering about exploring ways and mediums to ensure success of their ventures.

This, according to them, can be achieved by equipping oneself with the proper tools, knowledge, continuous trainings, guidance and support; and interacting with peers from the same industry to share knowledge and experience, allowing them to develop and enhance their projects.

The guests also shed light on one of the most important hospitality aspects-the food and beverage sector.
