Three students from Doha Academy Al Waab honoured

DOHA: Dr Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani, Chairperson of The Al Faleh Group for Academic and Educational Services, and founder of the AFG College with the University of Aberdeen in Doha presented special awards to three outstanding students from Doha Academy Al Waab recently.  

She presented a special award to Aya Hamdy El Banna, who achieved the highest mark in the Middle East for IGCSE Physics and the highest mark in Qatar for IGCSE Mathematics (January 2017 series). 

Dr Sheikha Aisha commented, “I’m very proud to have such exceptionally academically talented students in Doha Academy, we strive to provide the best quality education for our students; clearly our students are thriving.” 

Dr Sheikha Aisha also presented awards to Abdul Rahman Al Abiad and Baha’ Ibrahim Aburayya for receiving special recognition from EDEXCEL Pearson for outstanding results in GCE/IAL examinations, June 2017 series. Dr Sheikha Aisha further commented, “I really hope to see such excellent students enroll in AFG College with the University of Aberdeen.”
